About Me

Hi you guys! My name is Shawnetta N. Murray, I'm a self-published author, poet, mentor, and motivational speaker. As a survivor and overcomer of many things, to include suicide attempts, abuse, depression, anxiety, and divorce; I created Pick Up Your Crown for others that may find, or have found, themselves facing similar things. A place to be encouraged, strengthened, healed, whole, and equipped through faith-based books, merchandise, and blog posts. This is a brand that speaks to the true King and Queen inside us all. No matter where we're from, what we've done, or what's been done to us; we are still valuable, loved, and God still has a specially crafted purpose (crown) for each one of us.
